About Steven Weiss
Steven graduated from Bristol University in economics and has worked in the financial services market for over 25 years.
Initially working in the tied adviser division of the Laurentian group before becoming general manager of the groups IFA division servicing over 1000 sales force. Steven then joined the financial services and actuarial employee benefits division of the merchant bank Guinness Mahon in the City, providing investment and pension scheme structuring to the trustees and regulated financial advice to the senior executives of their larger corporate clients.
Steven was co-founder in 1997 of the Regent Group of companies (IFA, Actuarial and Process Systems), stepping down as Chairman in January 2008 in order to concentrate on other business projects.
Steven has worked on projects either on a consultancy or project basis, with financial advisers, networks, life and pension actuarial firms, legal & accounting, product providers, investment houses, consultancy firms, IT programming and data houses, (on-shore and off-shore), web designers, portals/wraps, and banks including FTSE 100 companies.
Steven has a unique and extensive skill and knowledge in certain niche and blended solutions. These relate to, financial systems, tool making, architectural web and system design and build, process and calculation resource and software solutions, data analysis, cleanse, client profile, marketing and scale up- scale down human resource solutions in the financial services sector specialising in pensions, mis-selling, system reports and financial advisory.
Transactional case work has covered singular case activity to tens of thousands per month of volume transactions.
Steven lives in London, Hampstead and has two beautiful children, Toby and Jessica. Aside from drinking too much capuccino in cafe's and spending time with his music friends, Steven is still waiting for offers to captain the USS Enterprise and elude the Klingons or to beat Roger Federer at a Wimbledon final.
